Following the cancellation of the meeting on 3rd September due to being inquorate. You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of Dunston with Coppenhall Parish Council scheduled to take place on Thursday 17th September 2026 7:30pm at Dunston Village Hall.

AGENDA

• Chairman’s welcome, and receive apologies for absence.
• Councillors to declare any interests or dispensations relating to items on the agenda
• To consider signing and approving the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 6th July 2026.
• Public open Forum – Members of the public are invited to address the Council for up to 5 minutes each.
• Matters arising from the last meeting;

a. Speed Indicator Device (SID) for Coppenhall; the Clerk to give an update and to organise a site visit date. Also received email of support from District Cllr. S. Harper-Wallis.

• To receive reports from District & County Councillors if in attendance.
• Financial matters;

a. To approve payments of invoices

b. The National Joint Council for Local Government Services have reached an agreement on the rates of pay applicable from 1st April 2026, an increase of 3.3%. The Parish Council to consider implementing the pay rise including the back pay. Current pay scale is SCP20 at the 2026 scale of £16.90, increase to £17.45.

• To discuss any Planning matters in the Parish
• To consider any new and past Highways matters that need action. 
• Any Correspondence received.

a. Clerk received email from Dunston resident regarding the safety of walking to and from the First School in Dunston and the road signs outside the First School, which have been reported to Highways. The Parish Council to consider any action needed.

• Any Other Business.

Next meeting is scheduled for Monday 2nd November 2026 at Hyde Lea and Coppenhall Village Hall, at 7.30pm.
